a chart search, not a chart host
The bridge between
Chorus and the game.
EverythingStar Enchor searches Chorus Encorethrough its public API and gives EverythingStar an on-demand playlist of.sng charts. It is the chart-backed sibling ofEverythingStar FOSS andEverythingStar YouTube.
What it does
A search goes to api.enchor.us — the same public endpoint the Bridge desktop client uses. The result becomes a playlist entry with the chart’s title, artist, album, art, duration and an offer describing the instruments and difficulties. EverythingStar fetches the package from files.enchor.us through this site, because that host does not send CORS headers.
What it deliberately does not do
- No screen scraping of Enchor. Only its public API.
- No copy of the chart packages in R2 or on this origin. The proxy streams the file for the game.
- No accounts, cookies or trackers.
- No claim to own the charts. They remain their creators’ work; keep the package’s credits and licence.
- No re-hosting of audio outside the package the game requests.
Attribution
Chorus Encore is at enchor.us. Bridge, its desktop client, is at github.com/Geomitron/Bridge. This project is not affiliated with either; it only uses the public API.
The family
EverythingStar is the browser rhythm game that reads playlists. EverythingStar FOSS is the file-backed CC library. EverythingStar YouTubecaches caption tracks. This project is the full-band chart provider.
